Peter loved all his children, grandchildren and great grand children. In return they loved him back
ten fold. He will be remembered as a kind, loving, caring, generous and fair man.
Dad loved it when we brought his grandchildren and great grandchildren round to see him. He would
love to tease them. He taught them how to put their thumbs up and say magic. He would also get them
to put their hands up in the air when he asked them what size are you, infact his youngest great
grandson done it for the first time the Sunday before Dad died. Another of Dad's catch phrases
was am I right or am I wrong.
Dad was such a great family man we are all going to miss him so much but he has taught us all how
much family means and we will all look after each other and help each other through this very sad
time. God bless Dad you'll always be in our thoughts and prayers.

a letter came home from niamh's teacher dad, she wrote read this and smile, and i did smile, through tears of pride.................MY GRANDAD
MY SPECIAL FAMILY MEMBER IS MY GRANDAD. I CHOSE HIM BECAUSE HE WAS KIND TO ME AND HELPFUL AND LOVING. HE HAD GREY HAIR AND BLUE EYES, HE ALSO HAD A TANNED FACE. HE REALLY LIKED CHRISTMAS AND THE HORSES,HE USED TO WATCH THEM ON THE TELLY.BUT WHAT HE LIKED BEST WAS HIS FAMILY. HE DID NOT LIKE NOT GETTING TO SEE US. I THINK HE WAS KIND AND CARING. HE LOVED ME VERY MUCH.

Hi grandad i wish you where here so much since you have gone i have missed you so much,things have been really tough since you left,i just think things in my life are never going to get any better,i wish you were here now so i could have your guidance i no that if you were here i could talk about whats on my mind and how i feel.i wish i could come have a cup of tea with you like i used to i have never needed you more than i do now.you have been so amazing through out my life and its a comfort to no that we had the best grandad in the world i think about you all the time wen ever i have a problem or feel down i talk to you i jus wish i could her what you would say back to me i love you with all my heart grandad i hope its not too long before we meet again life is so empty without you x
